Paradise Bay Hotel

On Thursday the 10th of December, the Education Hub’s staff got together at the Paradise Bay hotel for a meeting with various speakers.

Firstly, the staff met up with Fr. Chris, who helped the teachers, find some tranquillity and peace of mind when taking on the challenges that come their way.

Later, Nora, Marthese and Connie, from St. Jeanne Antide Foundation, joined in so as to discuss and brainstorm together with the teachers what may spark certain challenging behaviours and provide them with ideas of different ways of dealing with them, so as to benefit both the student and the teacher and eliminate further friction.

Joanna Buhagiar from the anti-bullying section at the student services department (SSD), was also present to share her experiences and help in suggesting different methods of coping with the students’ outbursts.

Lastly, Ms.Joanne Grima, the assistant director of the Curriculum Management, also paid the staff a visit, to update the teachers about the learning outcomes and methods of assessment.

The staff would like to take the opportunity to thank the Paradise Bay hotel’s employees for their hospitality and for making their visit a comfortable and memorable one.
